Cindy Schiewek (pronounced: She-vek) is the Senior Occupational Health and Safety Systems Specialist, for WSN and is based out of Sudbury Ontario.
Cindy is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and has over 19 years of experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety and holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a focus in Strategy and Organizational Behaviour and a minor in Psychology.
Throughout the years, Cindy has served the health and safety needs of various sectors including mining, construction, industrial, health care, government, municipal, farming/ agricultural, first nation, retail and tourism. She specializes in brining together
- Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and
- Health and Safety Culture.
Cindy is the architect behind the WSN Internal Responsibility System: Climate Assessment and Audit Tool (now known more commonly as CAAT Essentials+) for the Ontario Mining Sector which the Institute for Work and Health has deemed predictive of injury outcomes and is shaping the future of prevention.

Safety Culture Assessment Tool
